Things to know about the Franklin County Agricultural Society and the Franklin County Fair

     We are a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide a safe environment for the 4-H children of Franklin County to show their projects be it a skill or livestock.  For some projects, this venue provides a place for some to qualify for the Kansas State Fair. 
     Our group is made up of volunteers who donate time and materials to maintain and support our county fairgrounds. Our county fair is also one of the larger events drawing people to Franklin County.  With the fair, carnival, and demolition derby at the fair, and the derby in the fall, we estimate that approximately 7500 to 10000 people inside and outside of Franklin County come to our events each year as participants or spectators.
